MY REVIEW:
An exciting follow up to the first book in this high school romance with bullying elements. There’s not as much bullying in this story as the first story and a lot of it was from sources other than the oldest Golden triplet. This one didn’t grab me like the first story and the painful steps to get West and Blue back on their path went on a little too long for me. But when the couple started popping and the love kicked in it was spectacularly sexy and hot. As the romance heated up so did the drama with all the players. Cryptic messages from Blue’s brother Hunter from behind bars and from SeXyBeAsT Ricky had West and Blue trying to figure out what was up with the fams. We finally learn what daddy Golden is up to. Pure evil! Fantastic secondary characters in this series. Golden brother Dane and Joss are still in their friends only mode but everyone knows it’s more. I can’t wait for their romance to hit us. Plus there’s sexy Golden brother Sterling with no clue who his romantic interest might be. He’s just a love machine at this point with all the babes in his sights. Still love Blue’s baby sis Scarlett and her boyfriend Shane. Cute young love. Then there’s besties, Southside Jules and Northside Lexi. Terrific support for Blue. There’s a lot more to this story than just the sizzling romance between the hot hunk West and the beautiful feisty Blue. Loads of intrigue and dark deeds involving daddy Vin and Ricky’s shady criminal uncle Paul. Just when West is finally onboard with his feelings and Blue a happy girl that jaw-dropping ending has the fate of our lovers in limbo and evil rearing its ugly head. I need the next book now!
