***This standalone contemporary romance contains lots of cursing from both the hero and heroine, multiple sex scenes, and a protective Alpha male who will use any trick in the book to get his chosen woman out of her shell. No cheating, no love triangles, no cliffhangers. HEA guaranteed, along with a satisfying epilogue. Due to adult language and sexual content, this book is not intended for people under the age of eighteen***

MY REVIEW:
Another House of Payne original! I love this series with the sexy tattooists, staff and their leader, Sebastian Payne. All the characters are unique and that includes Sage “the rage machine” and newcomer, Mads. He’s been around for a while and had an instant thing for the beautiful Mads. She’s new to the House and sorta has an ulterior motive for being there. Her dad has an age-old grudge against Payne and is using his daughter for some revenge. This story had a rough start with these two for me and continued with Mads’ weird dad and Sage’s misplaced rage. I did like Sage’s protectiveness with Mads and his sexiness when he went after what he wanted. And he wanted Mads from the beginning. Their romance is fast, hot and sweet. She’s a little soft to his hardness. The drama seemed overblown especially the reaction to Payne’s new requirements for the Art Auction. I loved Mads’ sister, nurse Serena. While this wasn’t my favorite, I always love catching up with the House folks and meet the newbies for future stories. Terrific writing, crazy good characters and heart throbbing romance makes this a must read series. I look forward to the next installment.
