All I can say is wow!! This book shattered me then put me back together.” ~ Amazon Review (Tammy B)

From two different worlds, Venom and Magnolia were warned that they could never work, but their souls were not convinced. Taking a chance on each other wasn’t a choice, it was written in the stars. But sometimes, no matter how epic one’s love is, fate has other plans. What if happily ever after isn’t everyone’s destiny?
Magnolia
They say God forgives any sin if you are truly sorry, but was I sorry? It took less than ninety days for a lifetime of beliefs to be shattered, rules to be broken, and for me to throw away everything for him. I was tempted by the serpent and I allowed him to slither into my life. I fell under his spell, letting Venom course through my veins, intoxicating me in both pleasure and pain. His violet eyes called to me, wore me down, and drew me into his world. I knew better and I want to say I tried to resist, but that would be another lie to add to the long list of sins I committed. Now, giving him up may be the only way to save his soul and mine.
Venom
I never believed in angels until the day I laid eyes on Magnolia Grace. Under any other circumstances, no Cajun King prince would come across a girl like her. Maggie was pure and good. She opened my eyes and made me question everything I knew. Involving her in my life was dangerous, and could hurt us both, but I couldn’t help myself. I didn’t know how deep I would fall. She was my addiction, but the more she introduced me to her world, the more I knew she didn’t fit into mine. We agreed to give ourselves the summer. No regrets. Now, the nights have grown shorter, signaling our end is near. Can I let her go, or will it all crash down around us?

Zara is a free spirit, who spends her days alternating between writing, cooking, and tending to her four-legged friends. Her love of animals has influenced her plant-based lifestyle. From the time she could walk, she brought home every stray she came across, wanting to keep them all. Her friends nicknamed her “Snow White” because she is slightly obsessed with feeding every hungry wild animal in her neighborhood.
She can often be found outside, reading or writing a slow-burn romance while blaring her favorite music under fairy lights, surrounded by plants, crystals, and wind chimes.
Zara lives with her husband of 24 years, their teenage daughter, spoiled pit bulls, and her very ornery cat. She spends weekends laughing on the Chesapeake Bay with her extremely loud Italian family! She dreams of moving to a warm place where she can walk barefoot and paddleboard with her pit bulls all year long.

MY REVIEW:

Emotional teen love! A summer of outreach for Christian good girl Magnolia and a lenient sentence for juvenile delinquent Vincent aka Venom has the pair in the throes of angsty teen love. Vincent and his twin Viper are bad boy MC legacies serving their sentence and trying to stay out of trouble but that’s hard to do with their evil father pushing them toward criminal activities. Maggie and Vincent are drawn to each other and the two couldn’t be more different from their backgrounds and their families to their future aspirations. She headed to college and then medical school to serve the world and heal the masses. He’s headed to the club to follow in the footsteps of past leaders. This is a fairly PG teen romance with bits of violence and destruction. It’s emotional and a tear jerker as the pair deal with the complexity of a first love sexual relationship while trying to stay out of the harsh MC spotlight and the real consequences of both. Grab the tissues and swoon over the beautiful love of Maggie Grace and Vincent but don’t expect a HEA.
