Seven days of sin.
It was said to be a celebration you could experience only once in a lifetime.
For people like us, lovers of all things strange, twisted, and morally questionable, it was a claim that couldn’t be ignored.
My group of misfit friends and I hopped onto a plane to go and see for ourselves.
What we found was a beautiful village that seemed to exist in a world of its own.
After chilling haunts, creepypastas becoming vividly real, and the hottest one-night stand of my life, I was more than satisfied with our impromptu endeavor.
It should’ve ended there.
One folk tale was all it took to turn a celebration into a nightmare.
Eight of us went into the woods that story warned us never to enter.
Guess how many made it back out?
This a short prelude to a dark RH standalone. Contains mild drug use, knife/blood play, and heavy PNR
With a penchant for (writing) villainous immoral men, and a tendency to deviate away from traditional happily ever afters, Natalie Bennett is an international bestselling author of twisted and unconventional love stories.
When she’s not slaying words she’s somewhere in the sunshine state, happily taking life one curve-ball at a time.
Spooky, twisted fright night! This author always provides a wild ride of uniqueness and crazy hotness and this story has a horror factor that almost did me in. I don’t do really scary horror with a hit of realism but I kept reading even though I was on the edge. It’s a mesmerizing tale of demons and something other and twins that are other too. What Angel and Trix are is a mystery but the freaky creatures want them. Some of those freaky creatures are a trio of hot hunks that take Angel on a bloody ride. Speaking of blood, there’s an abundance of it along with gruesome brutality and dead bodies. Frightening stuff! The setup is full of horror and the mystery of the twins is enthralling. They may have run away from the terror but did they really get away? Don’t think so. I look forward to the next installment in this creepy new series from one of my favorite authors.
