MY REVIEW: Quick, easy read with a slow build to romance. I’ve only read a couple of stories in this series and I think the more you’ve read the more you’ll like each story. The brotherhood between the bikers is one of the best parts of the story. Crow is a sexy brother with a protective streak for not only his club family but his blood family. His sister makes his life hard when dealing with her and her sad life. He meets the feisty housing agent Angie with an intense first meeting and he’s intrigued. Several run ins later and he’s more than just intrigued with the beauty. Angie been been unlucky with men so she’s a little gun shy of the rough biker plus she overworked with little time for romance. And there’s a killer on the loose. Angie has a big Italian family with overly protective brothers which made for an interesting element when Angie dates. How will they respond to a rough biker? The romance was slow and didn’t kick in until about the 70% mark. There’s was a lot of mystery, suspense and danger with the serial killer. I liked Crow and Angie’s romance and the mystery was good but had a few issues. Crow was worried about having Angie around the club since she was an outsider but made no real effort to bring her in. He kept his two lives separate which didn’t make sense to me or Angie’s acceptance. For a 1% club there wasn’t much illegal acts. Most action was around the club’s legal activities. The suspense and mystery were exciting, the romance was a sweet sexy, and the brotherhood was excellent but left me wanting the dirty side of MC life. An easy going MC read.
