They call me a monster for a reason.
I left my morals behind long ago, and I forgot what empathy feels like. Emotions get you killed, and I’m tired of watchin’ people die. Not anymore, not under my rule.
When Father Donahue calls on the club for help, we step up. What I wasn’t countin’ on was her.
She is forbidden. Too young and too pure for me to consider touchin’. The warmth of her is far too temptin’ and I find myself breakin’ all my rules.
Only, the girl is hidin’ somethin’ and when I find out what it is, I will make her pay.
But not before I get a taste of her cherry blossom lips.
Dani is a USA Today Bestselling Author of dark and deviant romance with a seductive edge.
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, she now lives in the UK with her better half who does all the cooking while she writes all the words.
When she’s not writing, she can be found binge-watching the latest TV series, or working on graphic design either for herself, or other indie authors.
She enjoys reading books about handsome villains and feisty heroines, mostly dark, always seductive, and sometimes depraved. She has a healthy addiction to tattoos, coffee, and ice cream.

MY REVIEW: Good start to a new MC series. I love the Royal Bastards and was excited for a chapter in gritty Belfast. I really like this group of brothers and their brotherhood. There’s enough danger, action and violence for a 1% MC and tons of mystery and suspense with the club, the mafia and the Irish mob. The new club president Monster is a legacy and his father was the former president. There’s a mystery about whether the father was good or bad and it played during the story with a twist at the end. Monster is on a years-long path for revenge for the death of a loved one. He thinks he knows who the murderer is and during his hunt he finds Miren. You know right away who she is but it takes awhile for Monster to learn the true. The romance between Monster and Miren is a slow build with a instant connection. He doesn’t trust her until he finds out her secrets. Miren is a cross of strong and sassy, and sweet and soft. She’s attracted to Monster right from the start. He doesn’t scare this girl! There was some repetition in the story and it was slow in parts with some weird torture scenes. I was put out by Monster insistence that he was a monster. For me he wasn’t and the way he got his road name was cute. Plus he was a little soft with Miren for a big, bad biker. This didn’t have the really dark and gritty elements I like in a MC story but enough in keeping with the genre. Terrific mystery, suspense and surprise twists kept the story moving and when the romance hit it was sexy and steamy. I look forward to the next installment in this RBMC, Belfast series. This one is worth the read!
