Don’t let the title fool you on this one. There is substance to this story. This is a terrific story with beautifully developed, not your usual characters, a wonderful plot and a fabulous backdrop of Hollywood movie making. A mildly taboo relationship between a woman director with her first big movie and her star actor who she didn’t want in the beginning. As a woman, she had legitimate concerns. Juno is career-focused and intense and only concerned with her movie and any perception of wrongdoing with her hunky star. Cannon as the handsome, sexy hero known as a rom-com heartthrob doesn’t want to be pigeonholed and is determined to be the serious action star needed for Juno’s movie. He is intrigued by Juno and wears her down and she does succumbs to his charms after much cajoling. They are so great together. But what will the consequences be to her career if their relationship is exposed? This is a smart, sexy, emotional, slow-build romance that’s superbly written. I loved it!
