💋 My Review:

Wow! This story pulled me in from the beginning with the fabulous writing and creative, intriguing characters. This is my first read of the series and I really like it. I’m going to read the first two. Following teens Renee and Callum from fifteen/sixteen when their parents planned their future to coincide with their fathers’ business merger to college. Neither teen is happy with their mothers’ plans. Callum is a football star and a hot boy who decides to terrorize school newcomer Renee. Callum is a hunk that you love to hate and hate to love but you can’t help it. He’s just got something! Renee is a quirky, beautiful enigma and Callum can’t figure her out but he wants to. They hate each other until they don’t. Callum is so sweet when he goes after Renee and they are so cute together, for awhile. Of course there’s drama and angst and emotional upheaval but there’s love too. Callum flips between “you hate him, you love him, you hate him…”. But he’s a great character as well as Renee with all her interesting choices. There is an edginess to this story that had me waiting for the next shoe to drop. The author did a great job of creating just the right amount of angst and sexy love that had me loving the feels and turning the pages. These sexy YA/NA stories are my guilty pleasure and this one is terrific!
