The characters are introduced in other stories but this is definitely their story. So could be read without reading others in the series.
🔥 My Review
Action packed, seriously hot and fantastic! This one starts out with a bang (well, several bangs) and then goes ballistic. As the POTUS in waiting Tracy is on the run with her posse, her son and a group of badass Secret Service agents after a nefarious foe changes the world forever. The agent in charge is new to the group and former Special Ops with a big ole Alpha streak. John is tasked with taking the group off the grid and he’s the one experienced with going dark along with a few friends. John and Tracy have an instant steamy connection and John is itching to get his hands on Tracy especially when she disobeys his instructions. Tracy is used to being in charge as VP but it doesn’t take long for her to realize that John not going to put up with her disobedience. Whew, he’s hot when he goes full on Dominant and makes her obey. These two sizzle as John teaches her a few lessons in submission. Hot, hot, hot! Spectacular storytelling, fabulous characters, steamy romance and a terrific political thriller makes this a must read. It’s full of danger, suspense, adventure, mystery and really hot sex. My favorite of the series.
