What a great prelude to hopefully a new series from this terrific author! I love seeing how the old folks fell for each other and it’s hot. Gerard is a sexy MC beast ready to “retire” from the life and goes for the smart, sophisticated Kristen. He’s like no other man she’s ever been with and he won’t take no when it comes to what he wants and he wants Kristen. When he deals with her nasty ex in a physical manner she’s all in. They sizzle off the pages and prove that age is just a number and opposites attract. These two are so sexy together! This is a great set up for the story between Kristen’s daughter and Gerard’s son who is now ingrained in the MC he left behind. Can’t wait for Ky and Kira’s story.
