MY REVIEW:
Great storyline that I was thrilled to dig into. Who doesn’t love a good twin swap? I love RVD but this wasn’t my favorite from her. The setup was terrific but for me there were too many unbelievable parts and I didn’t really feel the connection between Izzy and Bridge and it took too long to get to the goodie parts of their relationship. There was a lot of convincing in the beginning that Izzy wasn’t a gold digger (which she wasn’t) and I really liked that she was all soft and heartfelt. Bridge as the strong twin willing to sacrifice for his family really went above and beyond. What a hero! The villainous dad was despicable. Ugh! It seemed out of character for him to taking in Isobel when he threw away his son. I had mixed feelings about Mom. Overall it was an intriguing story with some ups and downs and a good ending. I am interested to see were Julian’s story goes.
