MY REVIEW:

Lies, murder, revenge and so much more! A thrilling Greek tragedy in the making as the spirited Talia is offered as payment for her father’s debts to the brutal Greek mobster, Kostas. These characters are terrific! The beautiful, sassy Talia is wonderful as she is resigned to her fate as the wife of the deadly and powerful Kostas. I thought she caved a little too soon but I didn’t blame her because Kostas is one hot hunk. He is unashamedly a cruel monster but has a soft spot for his beautiful wife. I love as their relationship unfolds into a sexy love that sizzles into wild lust as they fight only to make up. So hot!! Then there’s the other Greek brother, Aris. Seemly nice but that’s only the surface. Like his brother there’s dark underneath but at least Kostas claims his darkness and embraces it to keep his family and its empire safe. There’s lots of family destruction on both sides, the Greek and Talia’s Italian side. Her father seems to the perpetrator of the latest threat to the family but he’s disappeared. There’s so much tension between the families as Kostas tries to control his wife and keep her safe. Talia rails against his control and the cliffhanger left me guessing as to what extremes these two strong people will go to to get their way. Can’t wait for the next installment. Excellent writing, a thrilling, brutal storyline and a sexy hot romance makes the one worth the read. So good!
