MY REVIEW:
I love age gap stories and when the woman is older…fantastic! This was a quick, easy read with an intriguing couple and fab friends. I haven’t read the Wingman series so this was my first entree into this world of sensitive men with certain skills and looks that help the unfortunate or less fortunate. The leader of college group known as the Pleasure Ponies is the beautiful face of the group, Leo. He’s been in love with his teacher, Mrs. Robinson, since high school and now she’s single and a professor at his college. I must say I loved his commitment to his feelings and didn’t give up especially when she needed him the most. I liked Kora from the beginning as she fended off the attentions of her eighteen year old student and then as the professor with a horrible ex. She kept looking for ways to avoid the sexy young Co Ed but it was inevitable when she sought out the Wingman in hopes of deterring Leo’s affections and maybe getting some help. What happens is the beginning of a beautiful romance along with the help she was looking for. It wasn’t long before the sparks were flying and Kora couldn’t deny the feelings she developed for the young but very mature Leo. I loved the camaraderie between Leo, Finn and Slater and the hilarious banter between the group. For me, some of the actions and language didn’t seems like those of god-like college hunks and was off putting at times and the events at the end were over the top but in the words of Leo…go big or go home. And what a big boy Leo turned out to be. Dreamy and so sexy! The epilogue was terrific and every girl’s dream, even the big girls. So enjoyable with a few laughs, great one liners, and something to look forward to with Finn and Slater’s stories. Can’t wait for more of the Pleasure Ponies! I do have a pet peeve. Make the cover models match the character descriptions. Leo has blond hair!
