MY REVIEW:
Another fantastic romance suspense story in an outstanding series! I love these Valkyrie stories with the kickass women and their supremely hunky fellas. Fast-paced action and adventure as the Valkyries fight to stay alive, protect their secret headquarters, bring in the remaining operatives before the bad guys get them, and find the fiends behind the attacks. We get a few more answers to the burning questions of who is the person or persons taking out the Valkyries and a killer clue at the end. There is some satisfaction as a few of the villains go down as the Valkyries add to their forces and are a formidable group. This story features the toxins expert, Eden and the lover she left behind, Zack. He’s a former Army Intelligence guy that’s now a CIA contractor. His affair with Eden was not what he thought it was and when they run into each other months after parting ways the attraction is hotter than ever. But Eden’s not a relationship gal and they have a few trust issues. Zack has an uphill battle but he’s just irresistible and so sexy and not ready to give up on Eden. I love that we get the whole gang with all the fabulous personalities and peeks at other romances in additional the build of Eden and Zack’s relationship. Terrific writing in this page turner with a sizzling romance, a few sad moments, bullets flying, bloody battles, some humor to lighten the danger and darker elements, and a wonderful sense of girl power with the Bitchilantes! The next one is going to be a heart twister with Kiyomi’s story. I can’t wait!
