MY REVIEW:
Intense, thrilling story about a Russian mob hit man and a young woman with a troubling past. It’s insta lust between the big bruiser Lev and the beautiful Kat. It was a rough start for me but as it continued I was draw into the story as the danger ramped up and the chemistry turned scorching. Lust-filled encounters happened every time Lev and Kat were in the same room along with his special brand of punishment when she didn’t behave. There’s nothing like a hot, alpha badass and Lev is panty melting especially when he goes all soft with Kat. It’s hot! Kat doesn’t stand a chance against him but she does her best. With her past, she has some experience with the darker side of life and is all about self preservation but she can’t resist all the comes with Lev. The idea of safety and love are things that Kat has only dreamed of. Circumstances turn deadly when the mob looks for missing incriminating evidence and Lev is determined to protect what’s his. He’s got a past that needs resolution and it looks like he’ll get his revenge but will he be able to hold on to his family? It’s an exciting race to the cliffhanger ending with all in peril. There’s an evil henchmen that I hope gets his due but I’ll have to wait to find out. This is a quick read with a sexy couple in Lev and Kat and a fast-paced storyline filled with a steamy romance, a nice surprise and Russian mob danger. I’m looking forward to the next story.
