MY REVIEW:

What a tease!! A cliffhanger deluxe in this bullying romance. Enthralling story with the bad boy Golden triplets. They’re gorgeous and athletically talented and the kings of the elitist north side. And then there’s south side’s tough girl, Blue. She’s beautiful but her rough family life is challenging as she works to give her sister, Scarlett, a better life. One of the best parts of this story is the poignant, emotional relationship between these sisters. It’s fabulous. Bad boy West has a secret that has him out to break Blue in the worst way. He’s cruel and nasty and dangerously sexy. West and Blue love the madness that happens between them. They love to hate and hate to love. This story surprised me. One of the better high school bullying romances. It starts out a little slow but the unfolding mystery of Blue’s brother, Hunter, kept me turning the pages along with the will they or won’t they…or when will they…between West and Blue. This is a really good nuanced romance that ride the edge of hate love in the best way. The mystery of the triplets awful father and his secrets is another twist in the story that has West in knots. Liar, liar! I liked the Gossip Girl-like Pandora with her/his texting and spilling secrets on both sides of town. Lots of fantastic characters from the other Golden brothers, Sterling and Dane, Blue’s bestie, Jules, Dane’s bestie and secret crush, Joss, Blue’s ex Ricky aka SeXyBeAsT (at this point I’m team sexy beast) the Cypress Prep mean girls, and the horrible parents. And back to that cliffy…no, just no! I need the next book now! Leaving Blue in torment was not nice. Terrific writing has these characters fleshed out nicely and the love/hate romance is suspenseful and HOT. I love the mystery in the story with Hunter and daddy Vin and even Blue’s missing mother. Something up with her. I think there’s so tie to Vin and Hunter’s situation. Only time will tell. I can’t wait for the next installment. A must read!

I love books! I have been reading for as long as I can remember. I was the kid with the flashlight under the covers reading until the wee hours. Books were my refuge. I was delighted to discover tree climbing. I would take a book and climb to the top of a Mimosa tree and read for hours...and of course ignore my mother calling for me to do chores. I was committed to reading all of the Nancy Drew stories. Ned was my first book boyfriend. When I was in my early teens I discovered Harlequin romances. I feel in love and it changed my life. I was in love with Love 💕 That’s something for a girl who hadn’t been kissed yet. When I read “he thrust his throbbing member into her womanhood” I was lost to discovering more about this particular brand of romance. But I don’t just enjoy romance reads. My father-in-law introduced me to the high fantasy genre and I loved it. When I bought my first Nook the world of books really took me by surprise. I was enthralled with all the available genres and to my delight I discovered erotica. In most cases, I was with family on visits to bookstores and you don’t peruse those even if they carried them. Oh the shame of it! ;) Thanks to Nancy Drew I still enjoy mysteries along with romance, fantasy, erotica, paranormal, steampunk, thrillers, and well, most anything except a horror of a horror. My favorite might be romance suspense but it’s hard for me to pick just one. I had a serious health issue a few years ago and was forced to quite working after building a career I could be proud of. It was devastating and depressing. I lost myself in books and now spend my days (and nights) reading. I am so appreciative of authors and the wonderful storytelling I’ve found in books. It takes me away from my troubles and introduces me into a world like no other. I love books!
