Terrific second story in this exciting mafia series. The stern-faced, broody, new head of the Irish mafia, Declan is a hot, dangerous delight. He’s all business and cold as ice until the beautiful Francesca slowly cracks his hardened heart. She is looking for answers about her father when she becomes a target of the Italians. Declan is on a mission to solve an old mystery when the beauty crosses his path and is tied to his mission. The sparks fly immediately between these two but she’s leery of his dangerous business and he doesn’t know how she plays into his past. Good mystery and intrigue with the Irish and the Italians in a battle along with a sizzling romance between Declan and Frankie. Loads of secondary characters for future stories. Can’t wait for the next installment!
