Born in California, she met her now husband at the age of sixteen and married him at the age of twenty in 2004. After all of these years together, heβs still the love of her life.
Hayleyβs husband joined the military and they lived in Oregon,where he was stationed with the US Coast Guard. They moved back to California in 2006, where they had two little boys. Recently, the four of them moved out to the Hill Country of Texas, where they adopted a new family member, a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
Most of Hayleyβs days are spent taking care of her two boys, going to the baseball fields for practice, or helping them with homework. Her evenings are spent with her husband and her nightsβthose are spent creating alpha book boyfriends.
MY REVIEW:
A sexy age gap is right up my alley. I was so excited for this story because I love this author’s storytelling and her delicious characters. This one didn’t do it for me though. The age gap was thrilling with a sexy much older accomplished business owner and the beautiful single mom. A nearly 40 year age difference didn’t really bother anyone after the shock. This was insta lust and warp speed to love. A little fast especially with all that was going on around Tenny and Landry much less the timing. I really liked studly Landry as the successful financier with grown kids and an almost ex. And what’s not to love about a single mom overcoming a tragic event and working to give her son a future. I’m all about the details and I overlooked all the wrongness with the business details of the story but when Tenny’s toddler answered the door on his own I was thrown. So out of character for Tenny to put them in danger. Thank goodness we soon got back to the sexy times! Loads of drama with soon-to-be ex Susan and creepy son Laurent. Poor Landry. He needs a bright spot in his life like Tenny. But will they get their HEA? Ex Susan turns out to be a real piece of nastiness. While this wasn’t my favorite from this author it was a sexy age gap romance with fabulous characters and lots of sizzle and steam. Landry was a beast for his age!
