MY REVIEW:
A love triangle that’s intense and dark. Brothers Romeo and Tristian and their lady love Eden. The three grew up together as mafia brats and loved each other. The girl caught in the middle between older, safer and kind Tristan and the playboy heartthrob and dangerous killer Romeo. Guess who she wants? The guy that’s too pretty and all the girls want. Plus his job for the mafia is villainous. Grim reaper, deadly killer versus the accountant. Eden loves them both in different ways but Romeo gives up the girl for his brother. Even though Tristan gets the Eden he still not happy. He knows who she really wants and it rips the brothers apart. The rift last for years until the unthinkable happens. There’s a rat in the family. The story is fast paced with intense dark mafia moments which are thrilling. The story is told in dual POV and with flashbacks. The ‘now and then’ format isn’t my favorite and was a little disruptive to the flow but it did hide some of the twists. Good intrigue, deception and brutality along with all sexual aggression and passion. Loved the epilogue which set up for the next book. Terrific writing partnership in this dark, intense mafia story with spectacular characters in Romeo and Eden. Can’t wait for the next story!
