MY REVIEW:
Action packed ending to this thrilling romance suspense. Bombs, bullets and instalove! The best of a MC romance. With that cliffhanger ending in the first book it’s all high heat and intense emotions as Micah meets his daughter for the first time and gets to save her and Ensley. Fast paced and full of danger that gets the club in motion and has Micah front and center. It’s not clear sailing even after their “come to Jesus” beat down but his skills and smarts makes inroads with the club. His path to redemption for his past sins. This author keeps the emotions high and the angst front and center with the relationship between Micah and his new family and repairing his relationship with his old family. Plenty of gut wrenching, heart pounding and tears with this group. Plus there’s the ramped up cuteness factor with little Remy. The author did a terrific job with her! Even with all the action complements of Ensley’s old life, I didn’t get a lot of gritty MC vibes. A little repetitious with high drama but good brotherhood. The brothers were fierce in protecting their own and closing ranks. The moment of micro forgiveness between Micah and the brothers, especially his dad, was poignant. The romance between Micah and Ensley was a hot, fast affair but sweet. He’s a macho man with a real hero complex. For the most part it was swoon worthy but some of his antics were a stretch for me. Ensley was a fantastic heroine. Soft, sweet and fierce when she needed to be. Great secondary characters. Couldn’t figure out the need for Gladys with all the ole ladies in the girls corner. This was a page turner to see who the culprits were and a sweet surprise baby romance. Another terrific MC romance story to add to this exciting series.
