Wow, drama overload! This picks up where the first story left off with Josie in anguish and Beck’s betrayal fresh. So much hurt! And that girl can hate! Josie hates her father, her brother, her school, the town and especially Beck. Or so she says. She even hates the hate sex she has with Beck. So hot as they go at each other. Ooh, Beck’s has all the juices flowing. What a mesmerizing hunk that ties Josie in knots as he tries to talk her into forgiving him. He’s not the only bad guy in this awful betrayal. But what’s the real truth? It take most of the story to get to the truth. I was worn out with the push pull and emotional drama. The first half is Josie hating everything and being tortured by her feelings for Beck and her father’s nastiness. There’s some repetition as she goes round and round with Beck before she finally succumbs to her feelings. It seems they are back on track and then her father rears his ugly demanding head. Beck is such a good guy as he puts Josie first even if it tears her heart out. There’s another big go down at the end with a big secret revealed. Not too much of a surprise. The ending was a little quick and everything was tied up nicely with Josie and Beck in a good place. I like this group of teens. Beck’s sister Frankie and his friends Carson and Olly along with Josie’s bestie Allie. I look forward to more from this group, especially the hate/love between slut puppy Carson and feisty Allie. Hold on to your heart and your panties and take this ride of hot teen love! This author can really pulls all the feels out of you. Terrific duet!
