MY REVIEW:
Yes to the Devil! A stunning ending to this enthralling story about the magnificent devil Poseidon and his love Ashley. She’s a smart, beautiful woman that’s strong enough to take on this devil. Their connection is so hot! This author has a way of writing with an intensity that translates into spectacular storytelling and her characters have such passion and boldness. This book starts out with Poseidon on land and not in a good place. He needs his sea. I love the relationship between Poseidon and the seas in the series. It’s compelling the way he needs the water and the way the seas respond to him in this retelling of the sea god. Poseidon and Ashley are on land to build a new ship after the heart-stopping ending of the previous story. He’s a beast without the sea and Ashley is dealing with the heartbreaking fallout from her father’s treachery and his last shot at Poseidon. Is his mother really alive? Plus, the government is out to get them. Enemies at every turn and when their safe haven suddenly turns dangerous it’s time to go. The culprit behind the attack is an old enemy. Poseidon turns to his brothers for help. Poseidon, Zeus and Hades together are terrific. I love their interactions in this story and their relationship grows stronger. It’s a race to the end with them rooting out the foe and Poseidon looking for his mother. The epilogue is so good with Poseidon and Ashley in a lovely place. And those brothers and their families. Fabulous! And a new character pops up when an associate of Hades’ aids in the hunt for Poseidon’s mother. Mason Hill is an interesting character and I can’t wait for his story. This is a fantastic ending to this retelling of the sea god and his lady love.
