MY REVIEW:

Sweet love and heartfelt emotion! I love these McCallisters hunks and now there are the Cavanaugh hotties and the heat is on. Hot boys abound! Plus there’s one incredible Cavanaugh girl and she’s a match for racer boy Jesse. I loved Jesse as the youngest brother and motocross phenom in the first book in this series. He’s terrific as a man but he’s had a few dings that affects him in some major ways. Heartbreak will do that. But he has his sunshine girl to lift his spirits. Quinn is his best friend’s sister so he treads carefully. Her lifelong love for Jesse has grown into a forever love but he’s resistant. The age gap is a big one. I love Quinn with her indomitable spirit and true love. When she makes a plan with her best friend Evie to get a part of what she wants from Jesse he can’t resist and it’s sexy times. Hot love! Evie is another fabulous character and I hope she get a story with Jesse’s cousin the sexy hunk Ridge. This story has all the emotion and sizzle this author is known for but it didn’t have the highs and lows I’ve come to expect. Some issues were resolved quickly and easily without a lot of punch. There were lots of characters with their own issues that popped up in the story like Quinn’s parents and brothers. There were more Cavanaughs than McCallisters. I did love Jesse and Quinn’s love story and the epilogue was wonderful. I was really all in with the Cavanaughs and hope the brothers get stories especially butthead Declan. I’m still waiting on the elusive Gideon’s story and now there’s Brody’s brother Ridge. This is an emotional best friend’s sister romance with a delicious McCallister and his sweetheart sunshine girl. Worth the read!
