Wow! An outrageously delicious story of power plays, revenge plots, dark secrets and sizzling romance. This author creates magnificent alpha males and Mason Hill is one of her best. Beautiful, brilliant, dominant and obsessed with revenge. Mason is twisted in his hate for his enemies that ruin his family and scarred him forever. He pops off the pages as he plays his game of revenge with the young beauty, Charlotte, and tries to hold his family together. He’s expects a society ice queen but gets an unexpected surprise when the sweet little thing Charlotte shows up instead of daddy Van Kempt. Mason is thrilled with the prospect of using her for his ruination plan. Be still my heart when he decides to use sex to ruin her. OMG, it’s HOT! Charlotte is a fabulous heroine with her desire to save her family at her own expense and forfeiture of her dreams. She’s sweet and innocent and has no idea what Mason has in store for her. She’s drawn to his beauty and his power and soon she’s ready to succumb to his dominance and sexuality. But will she turn the tables on him? Could he possibly develop feelings for the sweet beauty? There’s a delicious push pull in his game of power sex and her submission. I love this group of Hill siblings and hope we get all their stories. This ends with the lovers in suspension as the revenge plot takes a deadly turn and Mason and Charlotte are on opposite sides. I need the next installment now! A few of this author’s characters makes appearances in the story. Any sighting of a Morelli makes me swoon and Hades is always a heart throb of delight. I love this author’s intense, dark storytelling with swoon worthy characters. A titillating page turner!
