MY REVIEW:
What a finish to this delightful series about the O’Callaghan family. They’re a big fun-loving Irish family with a terrific group of siblings and a lovely Ma and Da. The baby of the family, Maggie is an Irish lass with a fiery temper to match her red hair and a sad love life. A widow at a young age but she’s not unhappy about her husband’s death. He was horrible and his antics are still impacting Maggie’s life. Right there to help her is her big brother’s friend and part of the family, Cameron. He has been around during the other stories and always keeps an eye on young Maggie. His work used to keep him gone for long periods of time so their mutual crush didn’t have time to move forward. Well, the time is right when Cam is in town for good and ready to get his girl even if Maggie is prickly. She has her reasons but Cam is just too sexy to resist. I love this couple as Cam gives Maggie everything she needs and pushes her to make her dreams come true. He’s a dream as a sexy lover with a dominant streak. This story didn’t have the excitement of the others but the romance was steamy. There was a bit of drama that was fairly obvious and quickly resolved. It seemed to just move along at an easy pace with a few emotional charged issues. The romance was fast and steamy but Cam and Maggie have known each other for years so it wasn’t an insta-love situation. I loved the scenes with the siblings and their significant others and nothing compares to their loving parents. Tom and Fiona are the best! And the babies! Looks like we’ll get a next generation especially with the fabulous epilogue. This is a quick, easy read and a wonderful finish to this charming series. Worth the read!
