Another terribly romantic love story from this talented author! Nobody does swoony sweet romance like she does. I loved this frenemies to lovers story with the petite powerhouse Daisy. She’s a sassy wonder with tons of energy and a surprising skill set. All sunshine and smiles she sets Xander off and brings out his argumentative side. Keep them apart at parties! One rather brutal encounter has Xander looking at Daisy in a new way. The sexy way! It’s not long before the anti-relationship playboy sets his sights on her. It’s a race to the end with a particularly emotional issue of Xander’s getting in the way of his happy along with the doubters. But he’s a big boy so he deals. This is where it turns so sweet. Yeah, Daisy! I love this Meet Me At The Alter group of women and the Seal Security hunks along with the significant others. I loved that Daisy contributed to the business with a new idea. The friendship is a treat and the romance is emotional and sweet. It’s fairly PG with just a couple of spicy moments. Knox is the only guy left in this group and he dropped a bomb at the end. Hope we get his story. Then there’s new baker Emilie as the lone bachelorette. She and Knox had a couple of encounters so maybe they’re next. I look forward to the next romance from this wonderful author. Loved it!
