Heart throbbing perfection! I loved every word of this spectacular love story with the magnificent characters in the Beast of Bishop’s Landing and his Darling. Leo is an intensely dominant antihero with a heartbreaking past that affects his present. When he traps the innocent Constantine beauty, Haley in a nefarious revenge plot is a carnal beginning to their relationship with twists and turns and brutal love. I absolutely love all the Midnight Dynasty stories but there’s something special about this series. This author’s intensely dark writing style is perfect for the deadly Constantine/Morelli feud that’s ramped up in this trilogy with the Constantine matriarch showing her true nature and Leo besting her in a brutal way. Heart stopping drama and dangerous encounters lead the way with this feud. The romance between Leo and Haley starts out as retaliation on Leo’s part and necessity on Haley’s part. She needs to protect her family at a cost to herself but soon turns Leo’s head and heart. Their romance is absolutely perfection with his harsh dominance and Haley’s beautiful tears. When she cries for him it’s magic! It doesn’t get any better than this. Don’t miss this truly spectacular romance full of sensual encounters and beautiful love. A must read!
