Lighthouse Way by Kristen Proby is now live!
Luna Winchester’s life is firmly entrenched in the coastal town of Huckleberry Bay, Oregon. A fourth-generation lightkeeper, Luna is carrying on the Winchester tradition by tending to the lighthouse. Plus, she’s decided to renovate a long-abandoned building on the property and make it a B&B, Luna’s Light. Surrounded by family and her two childhood best friends, her life is full.
Wolfe Conrad is in hiding, and he’s come to Huckleberry Bay to heal. A career-ending accident on the track nearly took his life, and now he seeks refuge to try and build a new one. The quaint town’s slow pace rattles the man whose first love is fast cars–and then there’s the beautiful innkeeper, who rattles him in different ways.
Falling in love with Luna definitely isn’t part of Wolfe’s plan. Local legends that tell of unrequited love and despair? Unbelievable. But stranger things have happened, like two strangers falling in love…

MY REVIEW:
This is a wonderful start to a new series by a fabulous author that brought to life Huckleberry Bay. It’s a small town on the Oregon coast with heartwarming characters and longtime relationships. One such relationship is a trio of girlfriends who found a journal during their childhood that prompted them to start their own journals. The revealing of the journal entries both from years ago and more current are a heartfelt part of the story. One involves a mystery to try to solve and the others reveal harsher realities and long-held dreams. Our heroine Luna is one of the trio and owner of the local lighthouse, family home and buildings. She plans to convert an old barn into a bed and breakfast. So industrious! Another industrious resident has returned home after an accident that left him unable to continue his career as a pro race car driver. Wolfe is a hunky athlete still suffering from his injuries but is moving forward with his plans to open a garage. When he runs into his childhood friend Luna he’s thrilled with their connection and sizzling chemistry. The two are dreamy as they embark on a childhood friends to lovers relationship. Sweet and sexy! This story has a heartwarming family and friends feel with tons of emotion and a sensual romance with a heart melting couple. There are terrific secondary characters in the story that will provide for continued stories in this fantastic new series. Loved it!
