MY REVIEW: This is a fantastic anthology for a great cause and features some my favorite authors. I was excited for more stories from them. There are others who are new or not well known to me and I’m thrilled to be able to read their work. These are some of my favs: Swan Song by Giana Darling I love these Fallen men and this story gripped me right from the start. Finnegan Ramsey aka Curtains has a heartbreaking past with a tragedy that happened during Christmas. This author always gives us a story with tons of emotion and characters that captures my heart. There’s an fabulous swan theme to this intriguing story. Inheritance by Amelia Wilde Give me a Hill man and his lovely family any day. This one features Mason as he starts to let his worry invade a beautiful time for him and Charlotte. But she a champ and can get him through anything. She is full of love and compassion and is his perfect match. I love this couple and any story I get is welcome. Ember in the Heart by Samantha Young This story was so sweet and thoroughly enjoyable. Ember is a 36 year old business owner who gave up a lot of her dreams for her loved ones. Ember has a big heart and has overcome a lot of difficulties. Enter Foster. He’s a 25 year old father and businessman. He’s a bit indecisive and there’s some back and forth as he worries about what his father will think. I was yelling for him to get over his worry and grab on to this wonderful woman. Into the Flames by Skye Warren This is a short story about two lonely people. Kennedy and Jax are afraid to take chances on love until a terrible incident changes things. I love this author’s storytelling and sexy characters. A Dark & Dirty Sinners MC Series by Serena Akeroyd I’m always ready for a tale from this fabulous author, especially a Sinners story. Yes! I love this MC brothers and their fabulous women. There’s an interesting format to this short story with text messages between each guy and his ole lady. It’s funny and sexy and thoroughly enjoyable.

I love books! I have been reading for as long as I can remember. I was the kid with the flashlight under the covers reading until the wee hours. Books were my refuge. I was delighted to discover tree climbing. I would take a book and climb to the top of a Mimosa tree and read for hours...and of course ignore my mother calling for me to do chores. I was committed to reading all of the Nancy Drew stories. Ned was my first book boyfriend. When I was in my early teens I discovered Harlequin romances. I feel in love and it changed my life. I was in love with Love 💕 That’s something for a girl who hadn’t been kissed yet. When I read “he thrust his throbbing member into her womanhood” I was lost to discovering more about this particular brand of romance. But I don’t just enjoy romance reads. My father-in-law introduced me to the high fantasy genre and I loved it. When I bought my first Nook the world of books really took me by surprise. I was enthralled with all the available genres and to my delight I discovered erotica. In most cases, I was with family on visits to bookstores and you don’t peruse those even if they carried them. Oh the shame of it! ;) Thanks to Nancy Drew I still enjoy mysteries along with romance, fantasy, erotica, paranormal, steampunk, thrillers, and well, most anything except a horror of a horror. My favorite might be romance suspense but it’s hard for me to pick just one. I had a serious health issue a few years ago and was forced to quite working after building a career I could be proud of. It was devastating and depressing. I lost myself in books and now spend my days (and nights) reading. I am so appreciative of authors and the wonderful storytelling I’ve found in books. It takes me away from my troubles and introduces me into a world like no other. I love books!
