MY REVIEW:

Another great story in this thrilling series full of danger, drama, romance and family. I love this crazy mafia family always at the ready to defend their territory and loved ones. The Doughty siblings are at the center of the story with sweet Freya featured in this one along with her love interest the hunky Kian. She just wants out of the family business to lead a quite life without the danger. Kian is at the center of the danger as the boss’s left hand man. Plus he’s a MMA fighter. Yep, danger is his middle name but he is irresistible. This story didn’t have the usual violence and brutality of the series that I really love but focuses on Freya and Kian’s romance. It grew a little tedious and long until the danger hit and then the action ramped up. The villain wasn’t a surprise but Desmond about face was. What was up with that?! I loved the whacked out, crazy Desmond. When Freya quit fighting her feelings the romance was hot and sweet. Kian is a romantic. Swoon! While this wasn’t my favorite it is still a good addition to this series. The cliffhanger ending sucked but I can’t wait for the next installment with Shane. I love this exciting mafia world.
