Creepy good and sexy hot! That’s what I love about a good romance suspense story and this author delivers on both counts. This is a twisty thrill ride that keep me guessing as to the deranged psycho after Serenity that’s scary and so far gone reality is a thing of the past. Great villain! And outstanding characters in our couple, Serenity and Lucas. Our heroine has a tragic past that comes back to haunt her as this new villain is out to get her while the original evildoer is safe behind bars. Who is this new mysterious baddie? But the swoon-worthy Lucas, one of the hunky Jordans, is determined to keep the single mom Serenity safe and make her his, even if the villain has other plans for both of them. A game of cat and mouse begins as the perpetrator cruelly taunts Serenity while tormenting her loved ones. As the hunt is on for this deranged person after Serenity, our couple manage to find a connection and build a solid relationship that’s sweet and sexy. That Lucas is a scrumptious alpha that romances Serenity into a wonderful place with him and her cutie pie daughter, Harper. What a fantastic family they make. There’s a marvelous small town feel to the story along with the residents of Verona Bay that look out for each other. Terrific writing, a suspenseful storyline with a twisted villain and a super steamy couple makes this an outstanding read. This story is a fantastic start to a new series. I’m ready for the next hunky Jordan!
