Stalker darkness! An impossible piece of perfection! I started this and couldnāt put it down as the cat and mouse game kept me flipping the pages. A memorizing dark romance with thrills, chills and an assassin with a penance for a ālittle monsterā of a girl that he created, in part. Ari is a spectacular antihero (right behind The Directorās Ethan) that is a stalker extraordinaire as he invades Adeline during sleep and wake. But with Adeline you donāt know if itās a waking or dream moment. Her condition was so interesting and perfect for this story. The question of what was real and what was a dream was masterful as Adeline lived in the in between with a passion. I was holding my breath as Ariās slowly evades Adelineās world and seduces her into a madness of pleasure and pain. Oh, he is a sexy ahole and turns her inside out with his torturous games. Thereās always a twist with this author but this one didnāt have a big impact on the story for me. I love Ariās fellow assassin Lincoln and hope he gets a story. And I loved that old friends Rebecca and Aiden made an appearance! I couldnāt get enough of Ari and Adeline and their hot chemistry. This is a fabulous dark and dirty stalker romance with outstanding characters from a spectacular storyteller.

Ari grips my chin and forces my face to his, our eyes locking in battle, a grin tilting those cruel fucking lips that lie and lie and lie.
Heās not lying now.
I slap at him, my palm slamming his cheek so hard it vibrates down my arm. Ariās head snaps left, but then slowly turns back to me.
