Terrific start to a new series with hot alpha assholes and women that steal their hearts along with twisty suspense and mystery. First up is the master asshole of the Nine, Tanner aka Treachery. He’s the leader of the group of young men that are set to take over the world-dominating businesses from their fathers. The fathers are class-A jerks with a penance for torture and bullying, especially family. The Nine are vying to outmaneuver their fathers and stay sane while tying to crush the old way of doing business. Luca was introduced to the Nine by her roommate during college and their brand of dominance was not her thing. But the fathers want something that Luca inherited from her father and tasked Tanner with getting it. He tried during college with bullying but Luca ran away after a sexy encounter with Tanner that left them both reeling. Now Tanner’s coming back to get the information but Luca is just as resistant as ever. She such a fighter even when it’s a lost cause because Tanner has stacked the deck and is pulling the strings. Or so he thinks until accidents start happening and Luca is in danger. Their enemies relationship is ripe with sexual energy and steamy encounters. Tanner forces Luca to accept his protection and moves her into his home and then into his bed. This is a smoking hot enemies to lovers romance full of intrigue, mystery, suspense, steamy sex and a group of supremely sexy young men. Don’t think this is like any other series because this author will always have a few twists that will blow your mind and give you a TDF sexy couple like Luca and Tanner. I was captivated from the beginning all the way to the end with the roller coaster of the sensual love/hate romance between Luca and Tanner, the mysterious behaviors of the Nine and the hint of things to come. All the Nine are masters of their domains and are sexy beasts. Gabriel and has his childhood nemesis, Ivy are up next and it looks like another fantastic story with the continuation of the Luca mystery and the sexual napalm of another Nine hottie, Fraud. He’s the deceiver with beautiful lies falling from his beautiful lips. Can’t wait!
