He repeated the question. āI need to know. Why was it easier not to believe me?ā
This time, she didnāt hesitate. āBecause then I could pretend you werenāt the man I really wanted.ā
āAnd do you? Want me?ā
She jerked back. Her tongue slipped out to wet her bottom lip. Her voice was barely a whisper. āYes.ā
He muttered a curse. Then leaned forward, his hand cupping her chin. āI want to kiss you, Bella. Iāve been wanting to kiss you forever, but I need to know itās okay.ā
She stared at him, pupils dilated, ragged breaths panting from her lips, and he knew this moment would be carved out in his mindāthe first time he saw her face reflect her open want for him. She gave a tiny nod.

MY REVIEW:
Sunshine Sisters love! I loved the first book about the oldest sister and her assistant, Gabe, the sex-on-legs assistant. He is a stud with a heart of gold working in a female dominated profession and doing a fine job. Gabe is delicious as he fights off admirers and fosters a secret obsession for middle sister, Bella. Sheās a widowed single mom living for her daughter and her job with her familyās company. Is she finally going to recognize the stellar man right in front of her? Gabeās ready to settle down and be a family man. Bella and her too-cute daughter already feel like his family. I was so excited about this pairing but parts of it seemed off to me. Gabeās drama was just so so and some of his actions didnāt mesh with his character. He is a smart, sexy handsome man but didnāt seemed like the alpha type. He didnāt need any help being a dreamboat. So responsible and trust worthy. I love the wedding/event planning backdrop and the creativity of these characters when they work together to pull off the perfect wedding. So much fun! These sisters are terrific and I hope there are more stories than just the three. The youngest and wild child is next. Artist Taylor and her best friend photographer, Pierce. Heās been smitten for years but sheās friend zoned him. Should be a good one. I canāt wait!
