Wedding Date by Monica Murphy is now live!

Kelsey Phillips is over the dating scene.

All that time and energy perfecting your profile and taking just the right picture and articulating exactly what you’re looking for, only to get the same sleazy propositions? No thanks. She’s doing just fine on her own, so there’s no point in a fruitless hunt for “the one” that doesn’t exist.

Besides, she already has the perfect man in her life. Theo is the type of friend who’s always there for a laugh, a hug, or a drink– and no propositions.

So when he somehow manages to agree to be a groomsman in his ex-fiance’s wedding to his cousin, the least Kelsey can do is be his date.

But why stop at doing the least?

Pretending to be in a relationship is easy. They already know everything about each other. And it sure isn’t hard to fake attraction to a guy as gorgeous as Theo. Soon enough, the only pretense left is that they haven’t fallen for each other for real… and the very small matter of the secret Kelsey’s been keeping. Can a fake relationship survive this real revelation?

What a way to end a series! Sexy couple, emotional romance and terrific friends. I’m so glad Theo was featured in this spectacular love story after his appearance in Eleanor’s book, Rate a Date. He was the sad sack blind date that turned into everyone’s best friend, especially Kelsey’s. She needed a friend to commiserate with about bad relationships and swear off dating. Kelsey is the bombshell beauty of the gal pals but a bit of a mystery. Sure we knew about her job and her swoon-worthy boss that turned into bestie Caroline’s hubby but not much about her background. I loved that the author gave just enough to let us know it was not good but didn’t weigh the story down with angsty details or beat it to death. Kels and Theo as friends turned lovers are so hot as their relationship changed in a natural way as they readily themselves for Theo’s ex’s (and his cousin) wedding. And who knew Theo was such a beast. Sizzling chemistry between the two and passionate overload. I think this is the hottest one of all the date books. There was so much love and emotion with a surprise at the end that was heartwarmingly wonderful. Theo and Kelsey are so deserving! I loved Theo’s family and can’t wait for the siblings stories. One of the best parts of the series is the fabulous friendship between this group of women and one was added with Theo’s sister Ali. Excellent storytelling, delicious characters and beautiful friendship between the women makes this a fantastic read!
