“Are you sleeping with my daughter?”

Not the question I wanted to hear from my coach. The man holding my pro future in the palm of his hand.

The answer: No, sir.

The real answer: I’d sure as hell like to be.

Marisa’s been my best friend since third grade. And now she needs my help–and a place to stay. Senior year was supposed to be the year to keep some distance until the season finished and my draft prospects were safe.

But resisting her is becoming impossible. Movie Thursdays under the blankets. Study sessions on my bed. Wild party nights where I kept any guy interested at bay with a single glare.

Her dad can bench my ass for the entire season, so she’s off limits–for now.

She’s the only woman I’ve ever loved. And one heated night, I can’t stop fighting every cell in my body and can’t stop myself from sampling her sexy smile, her sweet smell, and her sultry curves.

We’re walking a tightrope with my future on the line. Let’s just make sure Coach doesn’t find out…

A stellar addition to the fantastic college series! A group of hunky football stars living together in a house that’s party central with antics galore. I love this group of hot young men and the women brave enough to love them. Sometimes it’s work with their star power but it’s a different type of challenge for the cutie LJ and his childhood bestie Marissa. The two appeared in previous stories and I really like the way the author weaved the books storylines together without giving away too many details or spoilers. Just glimpses of the couples in past stories or the upcoming ones. LJ was a little different in his story compared to his appearances in previous stories but might be that he’s aged in the couple of years. He’s not the party animal he was at the start of this series and the growth in his character is fantastic. Marissa is a sassy sweetheart trying to deal with her troubled childhood. She always had LJ to get her through the tough times as well as his family. There’s a lot of family in this story with both having to deal with trying times but for different reasons. LJ terrific as the focused young man with a plan to help his family. The only problem is Marissa’s father, his coach. Ouch! Dad could make or break LJ’s football future. The love between LJ and Marissa is sweet and poignant and when they finally get the romance right it’s H.O.T. Forget third, fourth times a charm with this couple. There’s tons of heartache in the story with their families and the damage done to Marissa that leaves her with doubts. So emotional! But it’s not all drama and heartache. There are plenty of laughs with this group of interesting co-eds and sexy footballers. This is one of the best college sports romance series and I loved this addition. I can’t wait for the next installment. Go FU!

Maya Hughes, that’s me!, can often be found sneaking in another chapter while hiding in the bathroom from her kids! 🙂 I’m a romance writer who loves taking inspiration from everyday life, namely my husband and biggest fan. Inspiration also strikes when I hear a song, meet someone new or daydream while at soccer practice.

I love writing stories that capture the possibilities of the paths less travelled and enjoy experiencing life through my characters’ eyes.

I’m the mom of three little ones, the wife to an amazing husband and also work full time. Some of my favorite things are cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, white wine, laughing until I can’t breathe, traveling with my family and Jeff Goldblum.
