(Tequila Rose Book 2)

He tasted like tequila and the fake name I gave him was Rose.

Four years ago, I decided to get over one man, by getting under another. A single night and nothing more.

I found my handsome stranger with a shot glass and charming but devilish smile at the end of the bar. The desire that hit his eyes the second they landed on me ignited a spark inside me, instant and hot. He was perfect and everything I didn’t know I needed. That one night may have ended, but I left with much more than a memory.

Four years later, and with a three-year-old in tow, the man I still dream about is staring at me from across the street in the town I grew up in. I don’t miss the flash of recognition, or the heat in his gaze.

The chemistry is still there, even after all these years.
I just hope the secrets and regrets don’t destroy our second chance before it’s even begun.

Tequila Rose is book 1 of a duet – Autumn Night Whiskey, releases March 23rd, 2021.

I love this small town setting in coastal Carolina. But with the salty smell of the ocean comes the small minded people. Brody is new to town and setting up a new business with friend and local Griffin. Their friendship is a terrific part of the story along with the relationship between heroine Magnolia and bestie Renee. Magnolia is a southern belle with a painful past full of scandal. A hard thing to overcome in a small town. She’s worked hard and things are almost normal until she runs into her one-night stand and potential baby daddy. Yup, it’s hot hunk Brody. Neither can forget that steamy night years ago. But Mags has a reminder in her daughter. The slow roll to tell Brody was so angsty and emotional that I was over it before it happened. Ugh! All the drama. And then we get a cliffhanger thanks to Mags’ ex and confidante Robert. Yeah, he’s a twist. The town’s golden boy who can’t be seen with the town’s falling woman. There were a few things about their relationship that didn’t make sense. Why didn’t he want to know about Bridget? It isn’t until there’s some competition that he decides to put on his big boy pants. But Brody is a clear winner in my mind. He sexy and honest and willing to take on the responsibility. Yup, he’s the one. But I guess history has a way of complicated the issue when Robert takes it a step further and Mags has a decision to make. The writing was the emotional turmoil that we usually get from this outstanding author even if the drama was drawn out for me. Heartfelt characters with a sexiness that swoon worthy. I look forward to the next installment.

About the Author:
Willow Winters is so happy to be a USA Today, Wall Street Journal and #1 Contemporary Best Selling Author

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
