MY REVIEW:
Intense danger & steamy romance. I liked Reed with his alpha protectiveness and big muscles. MMA hunky fighter and defender of new neighbor, Harper. She’s a professor with a family problem. Well, more like major family drama and a brother that will do anything to save himself. That puts Harper in the sights of a bad guy and his henchmen. I liked that Harper was in charge of her sexuality and her fighting spirit. She didn’t do the easy thing and give in to her family. The romance is kind of insta with Reed enamored immediately. Harper has some destructive sexual habits to help her deal and Reed offers an alternative that turns into a sizzling romance. Not much surprising in the plot or the romance. Not sure why there’s a cowboy theme. The only cowboy element is Reed’s trainer and friend Gray. Good friendship between the story with the MMA guys, and Harper and Emory. Quick, easy read with likable characters along with suspenseful danger.
