MY REVIEW:
What a follow up to the first spectacular book! This picks right from that WTF ending with Santi fighting for his life and Ivy in a really bad place. My heart was breaking when these two are broken by the treachery and damage. Just when Ivy and Santi were making positive strides in their marriage and finding a strong passion in each other. Well, that exploded with the treacherous actions that made Ivy look guilty. And then the horrible Society is in the mix. I hate them! Poor Ivy. The events send Santi back to monster mode. He’s mad and the madness causes destruction to any headway the two were making in their relationship. The progress to a better place might be over but the hot chemistry is still there as Santi forces Ivy to submit. It’s deranged and dirty and so dominant and I loved it! The intrigue and mystery in the story is fantastic and along with the steamy, hard romance makes this an outstanding read. With another OMG ending with Ivy in danger, I can’t wait for the next installment. This is what a dark romance should be. A savage hero, a feisty heroine and a story full of danger, treachery, intrigue and deadly enemies. I can’t wait for the next installment. So good!
