Blog Tour: Reckless by Adriana Locke!! + My Review

“Locke is back and at her best with another heartwarming Mason brother to fall in love with.” — K. Bromberg New York Times bestselling author

Reckless, an all-new swoon-worthy standalone romance in the Mason Family series from USA Today bestselling author Adriana Locke is available now!

“How did you get in here?”

That’s not what you want to hear when you’re staring into the sea-green eyes of the hottest man you’ve ever seen. Yet I suppose it’s a fair question, considering I’m an uninvited stranger standing in Boone Mason’s kitchen.

If you think that’s bad—just wait. It gets worse.

This charming and wealthy playboy, who can’t pay his bills on time or find his way to the grocery store (but we all have flaws, right?), is sweet. Confident. Playful. He’s almost perfect. And, to make matters worse …

He’s smitten with me.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re rolling your eyes. You’re assuming this is some opposites attract situation—or that maybe we can be friends who turn into something more.

How can this be a bad thing?

Well, it’s simple. I’m not the kind of girl you fall in love with. Just to be sure, the universe reminds me of that in an unforgettable, in-your-face kind of way.

I might have broken into Boone’s house, but I won’t let him break my heart. I won’t break his either. There’s too much on the line to be that reckless.

Swoon-worthy, flirty fun! Ooh, Boone! He’s the baby boy, playboy, goofball, hot, hot, hottie. I loved him and his dirty mouth. He might be my favorite Mason brother but since he’s only the third it’s hard to tell quite yet. We still have GQ Oliver and brainiac Wade to go. Speaking of Wade…Rosie’s crush on him was hilarious. One of the best parts along with Boone’s response. I jumped ahead. Who’s Rosie? Well, after the cute first meeting between Boone and his neighbor’s cousin, Jaxi, we meet Rosie, Jaxi’s niece under sad circumstances. But it’s instant love between all the parties as Jaxi ends up with the darling four year old and Boone comes to their rescue. This is a page turner that moves fast with the wonderful Mason family fully engaged with these newcomers to the family. Boone is at his best as he find his path and grows up before our eyes and to the dismay of his brothers. He finally has his reason to be more than the baby of the family with no real responsibility or focus. I love the way he comes into his own as a family man, a businessman, and just a hot man! Jaxi’s had a hard life so there was a few tense moments as her Cinderella experience unfolds with her Prince Charming Boone. She finds it hard to believe good things are happening to her. Boone is delicious and so compelling with his girls. It was a little fairytale-ish as everything came up roses. I would think a wealthy family like the Masons would have a few concerns with new folks happening upon those hunky brothers, but no. It was bring on the homeless, we’re ready to help. Still a good read with a fabulous hero, a sweetheart heroine and a cutie-pie youngster. Loved it!
