The world loves him and his music, but I loved him first.
Blame it on the Tequila by Fiona Cole is now live!
It started on a dance floor after too much tequila and ended with looking into the handsome face I never thought I’d see again. In-person, at least.
I saw his face all the time on magazine covers.
To the world, he’s Parker Callahan- famous rockstar.
To me, he was the boy I loved, the stepbrother who left me behind to follow his dreams.
After our tequila-fueled encounter, he wants me back but that’s not a road I’m ready to walk down again. He broke my heart once, and even five years later, I’m not sure I could handle another blow.
When a once-in-a-lifetime offer comes my way, even my broken heart isn’t enough for me to be able to turn it down. I agree to join the band’s tour and help Parker write his next album–but this time I’m not falling in love.
This time I’ll walk away.
If there is one thing life has taught me, it’s that love never goes to plan–especially when Parker is involved.

Round two of the gal pals and their liquor. The champagne was fabulous and the tequila was setup to be just as spectacular after that ending in the first book. I loved Nova even if she is a little closed off with a big secret she keeping even from Vera and Rae. This starts with the introduction of the band and Nova’s first love, Parker. They had a taboo romance as step siblings in their teens that ends in tragedy. Parker goes on to success with the guys and the band. Nova’s left to pick up the pieces and get on with her life. I loved the band and hope those guys each get their own story. Those sexy rockstar hunks made the book for me. Their camaraderie with each other and their loving relationship with Nova along with bits of humor was fantastic. The relationship between Nova and Parker was a struggle for me. There was too much push pull and it took too long to get to Nova’s secret. That secret was a stunner and effected every part of her life but it didn’t seem to fit. Plus her secret fetish was a huge surprise and added a salacious element to the story. Sure it was hot but didn’t fit with my vision of Nova. Lots of reveals about Nova that changed my perception of her especially when her past was revealed. The past Parker and the now Parker are both dreamy. There was no doubt about his feelings for Nova. When they were on the same page the romance was sweet and sexy. The girlfriends love and support was one of the best parts of the story. Love the ending and that epilogue was jaw dropping! Can’t wait for the Vodka!
