MY REVIEW:

Intense danger, intense suspense and intense romance! Oh boy, the intensity has been there from the beginning of this spectacular series with these delicious characters. Iā€™ll get to Poppy in a bit. The star of this for me is Ronan. I was mesmerized by him right from the start when he was the Bulldog, Caroline Constantineā€™s assassin. I just knew his story would be a good one but I had no idea this fabulous author would take it to this level of madness. Just outstanding! Ronan sees so much change to his life that takes him in a new direction. One he couldnā€™t have dreamed up. He was always so compelling in the background doing Carolineā€™s dirty work. And when he meets Poppy itā€™s magical. Sheā€™s the opposite of him. Sheā€™s the beautiful golden light to his deadly dark. Such a terrific pairing! This ending ramps up the intensity in the romance department. Ronan finally succumbs to his desire for Poppy. Wooho! He gives it to her good. Hot, hot, hot! Heā€™s a fabulous beast that realizes his feelings for Poppy. And that makes her so happy. I love Poppyā€™s growth in the story. Sheā€™s turns into a strong, confident woman thatā€™s a perfect match for Ronan. There are several villains in the story. The every present Caroline, the truly evil Bryant Morelli and the spawn Tiernan Morelli. Tiernan is the worst and I canā€™t wait for his story. Itā€™s coming! I love this Midnight Dynasty anthology and this is one of my favorites of them all. This ending is just perfect for these two magnificent characters. Outstanding writing, thrilling storyline and heart throbbing romance makes this a must read!

I love books! I have been reading for as long as I can remember. I was the kid with the flashlight under the covers reading until the wee hours. Books were my refuge. I was delighted to discover tree climbing. I would take a book and climb to the top of a Mimosa tree and read for hours...and of course ignore my mother calling for me to do chores. I was committed to reading all of the Nancy Drew stories. Ned was my first book boyfriend. When I was in my early teens I discovered Harlequin romances. I feel in love and it changed my life. I was in love with Love šŸ’• Thatā€™s something for a girl who hadnā€™t been kissed yet. When I read ā€œhe thrust his throbbing member into her womanhoodā€ I was lost to discovering more about this particular brand of romance. But I donā€™t just enjoy romance reads. My father-in-law introduced me to the high fantasy genre and I loved it. When I bought my first Nook the world of books really took me by surprise. I was enthralled with all the available genres and to my delight I discovered erotica. In most cases, I was with family on visits to bookstores and you donā€™t peruse those even if they carried them. Oh the shame of it! ;) Thanks to Nancy Drew I still enjoy mysteries along with romance, fantasy, erotica, paranormal, steampunk, thrillers, and well, most anything except a horror of a horror. My favorite might be romance suspense but itā€™s hard for me to pick just one. I had a serious health issue a few years ago and was forced to quite working after building a career I could be proud of. It was devastating and depressing. I lost myself in books and now spend my days (and nights) reading. I am so appreciative of authors and the wonderful storytelling Iā€™ve found in books. It takes me away from my troubles and introduces me into a world like no other. I love books!
