MY REVIEW:
Sexy romance, tense drama and a cool MC brotherhood! Not the usual MC. They’ve gone legit so there’s no criminal activities, well not much. I loved this second story in this series and was absolutely in love with Leo and Lia in the first book. I was so excited for their story after the ending of the previous book. Steadfast friends and secret lovers but were they destine for more? Leo as the down-on-his-luck sexy young man and new club prospect is just wonderful with his sweet love for Lia. He was smitten right from the first encounter with the beautiful hippie girl with her girl crew of cute doggies. Lia reconnected with her dad, Tiny the club prez, looking for a parent to give a damn. Their love grew fast as the fierce prez fell hard for his little girl. That was a terrific part of the story as Lia had Tiny wrapped around her finger. So cute! The drama comes from the leftover problems with Leo’s brother, Tim. First he lost his family’s business property to the MC and now another hit is looming when a childhood friend shows up in town. This introduces a new character in bail bondsman, Josh. It’s an intense hunt for Tim that puts Lia in danger when Tim’s enemies pull out all their tricks to get what they want. Poor Leo is distraught and wonders about his future not only with Lia but the club too. Twists and turns as time comes down to the wire but Leo comes to the rescue. I love this sweet, sexy romance and more of the club and brothers in this story. There are a few appearances of favs Morris, Alice and Zoey from the first story. The note at the end about the club’s introduction in Flame had me rereading that story to see where the Disciples started. Wow! Blew my mind! I can’t wait for more of this series and this interesting MC. I loved the epilogue and look forward to the next story and the new guy in town. Worth the read!
