MY REVIEW:
A terrific addition to this heart warming series full of family, friends and lots of love. Magnolia Sound is a wonderful place to visit and these romances by this outstanding author are always so much fun to read. The characters are spot on and these two are no exception. Parker as the fun loving sister in an overachieving family is adrift among all the success of her siblings and cousins. Her outward persona doesn’t match her inward reality. She just wants a direction to head toward instead of coasting from one thing or place to the next. Will coming home give her what she needs? Maybe a person of her own will help. Enter Ethan. The super smart, slightly awkward man that Parker knows from high school. He’s now a local college professor and still smart and a bit awkward. When he offers her a place to land that’s not in a family member’s home she’s game. It changes everything for both. What starts out as friends soon turns into a lover’s relationship. I really like these characters that have more in common than it first appears. Both are sweet, supportive and just lovely. Of course there’s a bit of drama to round out all the good feelings and heartfelt romance with a terrific ending. Loved it!
