RELEASE BLITZ: Always You by Samantha Young!! + My Review

Always You by Samantha Young is now live!

Arrochar Adair has loved her brother’s ex-bodyguard and best friend, Mac Galbraith, for years. Once upon a time, she was too young for him, but now that she’s a mature woman in her thirties, Arro can see no issue with their difference in age. Yet something deeper, a problem much more difficult to surmount, is keeping them apart.

Mac Galbraith remembers clearly the night Arro became everything to him, no longer just his best friend and boss’s younger sister. However, having made many mistakes over the years, there is one mistake Mac is determined not to make: to believe that he is worthy of Arrochar Adair. Allowing them to grow closer during his daughter, Robyn’s, return has proven his undoing. And when Arro forces the subject of their relationship, his response pushes her away. He just never meant for it to destroy them completely.

Devastated by Mac’s final rejection, Arro is determined to move on without him in her life, though he seems intent on staying put. And when the Adair family face a new threat, one that may have ties to Mac’s past, Arro can’t seem to be rid of the man. In fact, Mac will do anything to protect her.

But with so much hurt between them, will Arro let Mac close enough to guard her from their enemy… before it’s too late?

Apple Books:

I love this series and this wonderful Scottish family full of love, laughter, and friendship with some heartbreak thrown in. There’s just something beautiful about the characters this talented author crafted with depth and uniqueness. I fell in love with Mac right from the start. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that he’s a big, sexy, tough Scotsman with heart. A dreamy concoction of manliness! Then there’s the Adair family, a group of equally hot Scots and one beautiful sister. When we got a hint of a romance between Mac and Arro in the previous stories I was all in. An age gap, best friend’s sister romance. Yes! Arro is a fabulous heroine. Smart, beautiful and with that Adair something special. But I was a little disappointed with this story. Ugh! The first few chapters recounted the pertinent details of the previous stories and for those that didn’t read them it was fantastic. I really didn’t mind at all but I was ready for the good stuff. A heart melting romance this author is know for. It took a bit to get there. Mac had a lot to work through and it was a little long for me as he got his mind to a good place after he hurt Arro badly. Poor guy was just trying to be honorable. Just when Mac was ready to make his move the suspense and danger ramps up and Arro was the target. It was a back and forth of whodunnit as both Mac and Arro were harmed and the culprits just would not stop. But who is behind the deadly acts? The suspense lasts to the end with twists and surprises around every corner as danger found the lovers. Back to the romance. Yes! Finally, Mac and Arro are on the same page with steamy chemistry and sweet love. Good news…brother Arran is back and it looks like for good with a business venture with Lachlan. And were those starry eyes he had for Ery? Could be brother against brother with Brogan’s interest in the beauty. We get a few details about her mysterious past and I can’t wait for the rest. While this wasn’t my favorite of the series it was still so close to five star I’m just splitting hairs. Mac is still a sex bomb and Arro is a delicious little firecracker. They are perfect for each other and that epilogue was outstanding. Now we need a baby in the mix. This is a terrific addition to this thrilling, sexy series. A must read!
