MY REVIEW:
I’m screaming! What the heck did I just read? Everything was rocking along with Hades and Persy’s backstory, filling in the blanks left from the previous stories in this terrific series and then the epilogue hit. My mind exploded! I have more questions now than I did at the start. I love this crazy series with brutal brothers, their captive ole ladies, the fierce brotherhood, and the outrageous antics. Hades has always been the hot enigma with tons of charm and a fierce hold on the mysterious Persy. With all his hotness I just knew he was a bad man. He treated Persy like a slave and I didn’t like that at all. I gathered she got loose at some point, especially with a sighting reported by Vengeance in the last story, but we didn’t get the details of her escape in this story. Oh no, what we got was a WTF epilogue that was a break in reality. I can’t wait for the next part of this crazy story to fill in the blanks. This author has a talented for creating reprehensible antiheroes with just enough hotness that you want to forgive their bad behavior. They do have their moments of swoon-worthy sexiness. Then there is the group of ole ladies with strength enough to match these hardened criminals and win their love. I will say that I melted with the reveal of the inside story about Hades, his past and his feelings for Persy. This is one heck of the a series with wild, wicked brothers that rule their domains and women with a ruthless dominance and cold viciousness. Nobody challenges what’s theirs and lives. The romance is a tenuous balance between harsh authority and sexy dominance with the women being all loved up. This is an absolutely fabulous addition to this crazy series. Loved it!
