MY REVIEW:
Fabulous second chance romance with wonderful characters. Classic K. Bromberg with a story full of emotion, a little heartbreak, and a lot of sexy love. Ledger and Asher are terrific as teen forever lovers torn apart by a devious parent and awful lies. I haven’t read the first story of this series so I didn’t have any preconceived ideas about Ledger. Kind of glad I didn’t because I thought he was a dreamboat that’s a bit bossy and a lot sexy with a big soft spot for his former girlfriend. I loved Asher right from the start. Her commitment to the family farm and keeping the business going was terrific. Her background was sad and seemed to be something impossible to overcome and the townspeople wouldn’t let die. Her strength was impressive as she thumped her nose at the gossips and kept going even when her dreams crashed. The dance between the Ledger and Asher was intriguing but I didn’t understand their not talking about the past to get to the truth. It did provide for the continued push pull between the two even though they couldn’t deny their chemistry and connection. There were flashbacks that showed the old relationship between the lovers and the role the parents played in the deception. I thought the triplets premise was interesting but the pressure put on Ledger as the oldest was crazy. A few minutes makes that much of a difference in a multiple birth? Crazy! The brothers make a few appearances in the story and the “youngest” is up next. Should be a good read like this one. Full of hot passion and the resurrection of old feelings make this a satisfying second chance romance. Loved it!
