Finally, we get Crow! He’s been talked about from the start of this series and he is finally out of prison and home. Crow/Logan has had a hard time with trying to survive prison and the the rift with his blood family. When he gets home to his club family he is disconnected from life and dealing with the changes after years inside. Crow plans on keeping his head down and out of trouble. He’s such a hero and it’s gotten him in trouble in the past. When a young girl needs his help he can’t turn her down. Mia is a terrific character as the cutie with a sweet mother. Birdie is a wonderful mother and calls to Crow’s protective side. Both are smitten right from the start. The club is not the usual but if you follow this series then you know they changed their ways and are legal now. No rowdy biker life, no club girls, no wild parties, and nothing illegal. Just hunky bike lovers, their women and kids, and terrific brotherhood. I must admit that I’m a little disappointed with Crow’s story. It fine and I loved Birdie and Mia but I expected more for this larger than life brother. Plus there’s wasn’t any danger or suspense in the story like the others. Some of Birdie’s actions were kind of a head scratcher for me. Why wait to seek medical treatment? I was glad when the old ladies helped her out. Alice rocked it! You could read this as a standalone but you would miss out on a lot about the club and the brothers, and the myth, the man that is Crow. Such a hunk! I hope we get Arrow’s story with some action and danger. This is a good addition to this exciting series. Worth the read!
