MY REVIEW: Exciting start to a new series by this fabulous duo. What a setup! Three half brothers, a Montana ranch and billions on the line. These brothers are unlike each other, have never met before, and all have trauma from their absentee dad. One works the ranch and had some contact with the dad, one is living it up on the East coast, and first up is the third, Austin. He lives on the West coast with his sick mother and a sea plane business. He really can’t afford to head to Montana but he needs the money even if a year on the ranch will cause problems for him and his mother. I felt for Austin right from the start and was all in with this hunky hottie. He’s smitten from his first encounter with Carly. She’s a beauty that works on the ranch as a vet tech. Her plans for vet school were derailed by a horrible event. Yikes, it’s bad and sad and she’s still overcoming her ordeal. She wants to move on but the small town won’t let her and she’s thrilled to meet the sexy outsider Austin. He’s ready to make a move but the do-gooders jump in. It takes awhile for all of Carly’s story to come out and it’s painful. Austin response is wonderful and I loved these two together. In addition to the romance there’s the relationship between the brothers. It’s a work in progress as they learn about each other, work the ranch, and live for the billions. Being a Billion Heir has its challenges. This reminds me of another cowboy series by Vanessa Vale but I see the influence of the other author. I like this beginning of a new series with hunky heroes, beautiful heroines, small town Montana, and sexy romance. I look forward to the next installment. Worth the read!
