MY REVIEW:
This is a quick, easy read with a delicious age-gap element in this first story of a new series. I really like the group of James brothers the series features with the oldest up first. Maverick is the CEO of the family business and when he has a meet cute with the heroine, Bridget, he’s a goner. It’s insta-lust and then inst-love as the two start out fast and don’t let up. I was not buying it at first but soon I was all in with the relationship between the hunky billionaire and the shy brainiac. I love a heroine with smarts and this one is brilliant. This author does insta really good and along with the steamy heat and sweet love I was a goner too. There’s a bit of drama but mostly it’s all about getting to know each other and the sexy times. Plus getting to know the brothers. It seems the insta-love runs in the family as one of the brothers is smitten at the end of the story. Terrific secondary characters in Bridget’s sister and bestie. The epilogue sets up the next story with brother Dex and I can’t wait. Loved this one!
